Introduction to Burmatex Tivoli Planks
The Burmatex Tivoli Planks Melanesia Grey collection delivers a modern and durable flooring solution for commercial interiors. Designed for busy environments, these high-performance Burmatex planks combine stylish aesthetics with long-lasting functionality.
Burmatex created the Tivoli plank range to provide greater design flexibility than traditional carpet tiles. Each plank measures 25cm x 100cm and supports creative floor layouts such as herringbone, half drop, and random installation patterns. These layout options help designers create unique and visually engaging commercial spaces.
The Melanesia Grey colourway offers a sophisticated neutral finish that works across a wide range of interiors. The soft grey tones create a clean and professional atmosphere while complementing modern office furniture and interior design schemes.
These commercial carpet tiles feature a durable low-level loop pile construction made from 100% solution dyed nylon. This material improves colour retention, stain resistance, and overall flooring performance in high-traffic areas.
The Tivoli range achieves a Class 33 heavy commercial rating. This makes the flooring suitable for offices, schools, universities, reception areas, meeting rooms, and public buildings.
Burmatex Tivoli planks also support practical maintenance. Individual planks can be replaced quickly if damage occurs, reducing disruption and long-term flooring costs.
The collection offers an ideal balance between durability, design flexibility, and professional appearance. Businesses looking for reliable interior design flooring solutions often choose Tivoli planks for both refurbishment and new commercial projects.
Features of Melanesia Grey
The Melanesia Grey design delivers a timeless commercial flooring finish with excellent versatility. The neutral grey palette helps create calm, modern interiors that suit both contemporary and traditional spaces.
Grey flooring remains one of the most popular choices for commercial environments because it pairs easily with many furniture styles, wall colours, and workplace layouts. The Melanesia Grey shade provides a professional appearance while helping minimise the visibility of dirt and daily foot traffic.
These Burmatex Tivoli planks feature a low-level loop pile construction that improves durability and maintains a clean finish over time. The textured surface also enhances the overall visual depth of the flooring.
The Tivoli range includes both plain and multiline stripe designs. This flexibility allows designers to mix and match planks to define walkways, breakout areas, collaborative spaces, and meeting zones.
The 100% solution dyed nylon yarn improves colour consistency and resistance to fading. This makes Melanesia Grey suitable for demanding commercial environments where flooring must maintain its appearance for many years.
The slim plank format also supports creative floor patterns that add movement and style to commercial interiors without overwhelming the space.
