F46 Styccobond Pressure Sensitive Acrylic Adhesive
F46 – the recommended adhesive for securing luxury vinyl tile LVT flooring!
F46 is a pressure sensitive adhesive which is designed for securing vinyl/PVC sheet and tiles with PVC foam and PVC backings. It is a popular option for securing all LVT products and is regularly purchased with our hugely popular LVT ranges.
It is applied using a trowel, usually A1 fine notched, A2 or 1.5 x 5mm size and provides a high bond strength, drying as a permanent tacky film. When fitting thinner types of vinyl/ PVC flooring a paint roller can also be used to flatten the application and prevent shadowing from the adhesive through the floorcovering.
The F46 adhesive also has indefinite open time and is suitable for use with underfloor heating.
Coverage-
5 Litres: Covers approx. 15-25 m2
15 Litres: Covers approx. 45-75 m2
Coverage depends on trowel size used. The guidance from the manufacturer F Ball advises; 3m²/ litre when using A2 trowel, 4m²/litre when using A1 fine notched trowel and 5m² when using 1.5mm x 5mm trowel).
