The Styccobond F40 by F ball & Co Ltd is a trowel applied synthetic polymer emulsion, which offers the convenience of a dual bond system- providing either a permanent or peelable ‘release’ bond depending on application/ installation method. To achieve a permanent bond the floorcovering is laid onto the wet adhesive and to achieve a peelable release bond the adhesive should be completely dry until the adhesive turns transparent in colour, before laying the floorcovering or underlay onto the adhesive. A peelable bond will secure the floorcovering but will allow the carpet or floorcovering to be lifted without a significant amount of damage to the flooring or sub-floor. This product solvent free, water based adhesive is suitable for use over underfloor heating systems.

5 Litres- covers approx. 20-35 m2 with a trowel or 35-45 m2 with roller application.
